Target groups
Who is funded? (Eligible to apply)
Skilled workers who have completed vocational training, are under 25 years of age and are employed for at least 15 hours per week or registered as unemployed. Proof of qualification:
- Candidate passed their final vocational examination with a grade of 1.9 or better
- Candidate was among the top three in a supra-regional vocational performance competition
- A justified recommendation of the candidate provided by their employer or vocational school
What is funded? (Purpose)
Support is provided for taking part in continuing education courses for career advancement or subject-matter courses as well for engaging in a part-time course of university/college study.
The funding is granted, in what amount? (The type and amount of support)
Grant (relating to a project).
- Scholarship for a total of €8100
- The participant is expected to contribute 10% of the costs of each funded measure; funding is provided for travel, courses of studies, accommodations and working materials
- For any number of eligible continuing education courses within a period of 3 years
- An IT bonus of €250 for purchase of a computer in the first funding year in which a measure is funded
