Who is funded? (Eligible to apply)
- Companies with business premises in Brandenburg
- Large companies (generally only in association with at least one small or medium-sized enterprise (SME) from Berlin or Brandenburg or a research institution)
What is funded? (Purpose)
Funding of research, development and innovation projects in the research category “experimental development” as well as market preparation and market launch.
Submission of complete application documents must be preceded by confirmation of expert advice and/or consultation by the Brandenburg Economic Development Corporation (WFBB).
This program is also available as a grant (see grants).
The funding is granted, in what amount? (The type and amount of support)
Loans, partial financing as low-interest loans (possibly in combination with grants).
The funding is limited to a maximum of €3 million in loans (and €3 million in grants) per project. For market preparation/market launch measures related to the R&D project, project funding will be granted exclusively in the form of a loan that meets the requirements of the de minimis regulation and that is not to exceed €200,000 (subsidy equivalent).
