Legally independent, innovative companies from industry, trade and selected service sectors based in Germany.
- Up to 50 employees
- Annual balance sheet total or annual turnover of no more than €10 million
- Younger than 10 years
The hallmark of an eligible innovative enterprise is the new development or significant improvement of products, processes and services and their market launch.

What is funded? (Purpose)
Funding is provided for participation in joint booths organised by trade fair organisers for young innovative companies at leading international trade fairs in Germany.
The funding is granted, in what amount? (The type and amount of support)
Grant
- The costs invoiced by the organiser for booth rental and booth construction are eligible for funding. For the first two trade fair participations under the development programme, 60% of the costs are funded, and the contribution of the applicant is 40%. Starting from the third trade fair participation, 50% will be funded, with the applicant expected to contribute 50%.
- The exhibitor must register with the fair organiser at least 8 weeks before the start of the fair.
- Simultaneous submission of the application by the exhibitor to BAFA
Three participations of a company at the same trade fair are eligible for funding.
