Target groups
Who is funded? (Eligible to apply)
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the commercial sector with a registered office or branch in Germany.
It is strongly recommended that interested SMEs first contact the federal government’s “research and innovation” funding advisory service. Their staff clarify the basic requirements for funding and put you in touch with the right project sponsors.
What is funded? (Purpose)
Funding of individual projects of own research and development projects that are characterised by high scientific and technical risk and cooperation with other partners.
The funding is granted, in what amount? (The type and amount of support)
Grant.
- Up to 100% of the project-related personnel costs as well as subcontracts for analyses and consulting by third parties in the amount of no more than €20,000.
- Up to €50,000 for a period of no more than 6 months
The “easy-Online” electronic application system must be used to prepare formal funding applications. Interested parties can obtain the necessary login credentials on request from the project sponsor responsible for their project topic.
