What is funded? (Purpose)
Funding is provided for projects in the districts and independent cities of the State of Brandenburg with the aim of gradually introducing project participants to work and integrating them into gainful employment or education, as well as strengthening social participation and communal life in the participating families. To this end, the combination of intensive individual counselling by integration counsellors (socio-educational accompaniment) with needs-oriented support modules is funded.
The funding is granted, in what amount? (The type and amount of support)
Grant.
The personnel and material costs required to implement the measure are eligible for funding. Wage subsidies to participants are not eligible for funding. The grant from the European Social Fund (ESF) may amount to up to 60% of the total eligible expenditure. The necessary co-financing of the ESF funds comes in the form of a lump sum from benefits to cover living expenses according to Section 20 of Social Security Code II. The grant in relation to the total eligible expenditure may not exceed an average of €5000 per participant.
