Who is funded? (Eligible to apply)

Those who want to go into business for themselves as a livelihood to end their unemployment by working on a self-employed basis and who are still entitled to unemployment benefit I for at least 150 days.

Excluded from this opportunity are those who have reached the age of 65 or if 24 months have not yet elapsed after the end of a grant to work on a self-employed basis under Social Security Code III.

What is funded? (Purpose)

Starting work on a self-employed basis. 

The funding is granted, in what amount? (The type and amount of support)
  • Six months of entitlement to individual unemployment benefits plus a lump sum to cover other life expenses in the amount of €300, with payment of the additional lump sum based on the assessment/discretion of the office providing the grant. The grant requires proof of intensive, full-time entrepreneurial activity.
  • A grant of €300 may be granted for an additional nine months.
  • The maximum funding period is 15 months.
  • Evaluation of the viability of the business idea by an expert body is required.
