Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the area of cutting-edge research.
What is funded? (Purpose)
Funding of research and development projects in the following technology areas:
- Raw material efficiency
- Energy efficiency and climate protection
- Conservation of biodiversity
- sustainable water management
- sustainable land management and energy efficiency
Funding is provided for industrial research and pre-competitive development projects that feature a high level of scientific and/ or technical risk to be taken. Individual projects by companies with expertise in the focus areas described above are eligible for funding.
The funding is granted, in what amount? (The type and amount of support)
Grant.
- Funding advice from the Federal Pilot Service for Innovative SMEs
- Online tool for project outlines
- Evaluation of the project outline within two months
- After positive review of the project outline, official submission of application
- Decision made regarding the application within two months
- After approval, disbursement of funding according to the progress of the project
