Who is funded? (Eligible to apply)

Eligible to participate (according to advisory services) are:

  • Pilot services – unemployed or employed residents of Brandenburg who want to start a business
  • Pilot service for unemployed or employed migrants
  • People with a migration background who live in Brandenburg and want to start a business
  • Business-starting workshops for young people – unemployed residents of Brandenburg up to the age of 30 or those threatened by unemployment who want to start a business.
  • Business-starting services: students, academic/scientific staff and alumni of Brandenburg universities
  • Innovations require courage (IbM) – people who want to start an innovative business in the State of Brandenburg.
What is funded? (Purpose)

Within the framework of target-group-specific advisory services, those interested in starting a business or taking over an existing business are given comprehensive support from A to Z in preparing for their professional self-employment (including business financing) with tailored advice, coaching and training specifically geared to their new business project all the way to the point at which they have founded their business.

Advisory services

  • Participation is free of charge.
  • With innovative start-up projects, a small portion of the costs must be paid between formal incorporation and the start of business activities.
