This programme is suitable for
Target groups
Who is funded? (Eligible to apply)
- Scientists from public, non-profit, non-university research and higher education institutions
- University graduates and former academic staff up to 5 years after leaving the research/educational institution
- Students who have completed at least half of their programme of study
- Founder teams up to a maximum of three people
What is funded? (Purpose)
- Innovative technology-oriented start-up projects
- Innovative knowledge-based services based on scientific findings
The funding is granted, in what amount? (The type and amount of support)
Grant.
For private living expenses with a one-year scholarship, between €1000 and €3000/month; €150 supplement/child for material expenses:
- Up to €10,000 for an individual who is starting a business
- Up to €30,000 for a team starting a business
- Up to €5000 for coaching
Universities receive €10,000 as a bonus for approved new business projects in the EXIST business-starting grant.
