This programme is suitable for
Who is funded? (Eligible to apply)
- Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
- Universities and non-university research institutions based in Germany are also eligible to apply, provided that they cooperate with at least one SME engaged in research in a Eurostars project.
- Research institutions that receive joint basic funding from the federal government and the states can only be granted project funding if their project investment is indispensable for success of the project. This must be justified separately in the application.
What is funded? (Purpose)
- Development of innovative technologies for new products, processes, services
- Bolstering of European cooperation of SMEs on FundE projects
The funding is granted, in what amount? (The type and amount of support)
Grant.
- Funding volume: not to exceed €500,000 (among all German participants involved)
- SME funding rate: not to exceed 50%
- Universities, research institutions: 50% to 100%
- Large companies can participate with their own funds.
