Who is funded? (Eligible to apply)
- New entrepreneurs who are committed to starting their own business or whose new business is no more than 3 years old
- Experienced entrepreneurs who own or manage a small or medium-sized enterprise in another participating state
What is funded? (Purpose)
The general objective of “Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs” is to promote the exchange of experience, mutual learning and networking between new entrepreneurs in the EU by having them work together with an experienced entrepreneur in another EU Member State.
The specific program objectives are:
- Practical training for new entrepreneurs in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in another state in the EU to enable a successful start and further development of their business ideas
- Exchange of experiences and information between entrepreneurs on the obstacles and challenges of starting and developing their businesses
- Improving market access and finding potential partners for new businesses and established companies in other EU countries
- Networking through the use of knowledge and experience from other European countries
The funding is granted, in what amount? (The type and amount of support)
Grant.
- For travel and accommodation expenses of the young entrepreneur
- For one to 6 months of cooperation
