Who is funded? (Eligible to apply)

Companies that install a fuel cell system in a residential building (including contractors)
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that install a fuel cell system in a non-residential building (including contractors).
Enterprises that have a majority shareholder that is a municipality
All non-profit organisational forms
Municipal regional authorities, their legally dependent own undertakings and municipal special-purpose associations
Freelances
Natural Persons
Condominium owners’ associations (WEG)

What is funded? (Purpose)

Funding is available for installation of stationary fuel cell systems with an electrical output of at least Pel = 0.25 kWel to no more than Pel = 5.0 kWel in new or existing residential and non-residential buildings.

The funding is granted, in what amount? (The type and amount of support)

Grant.

Fixed amount (basic funding): €5,700
Performance-based amount (additional funding): €450 per 0.1 kWel or portion thereof

A maximum of 40% of the costs eligible for receiving funding are subsidised. An energy efficiency expert must be involved in the application process.
